The roast beef sandwich was delicious with the homemade chips but they really should add salt or flavor for chips. You order at register when you enter. Cost about 10 I believe it was 8 for half which was plenty.

Just my absolute favorite restaurant in springfield the service the food the atmosphere just can't get any better.. locally owned native from the bayou ppl that prepare food and treat you the best you can ask for! A spfd gem for sure!

I had the fried fish dinner. It was good! I will say, I’m used to getting 2 pieces for the same price or just slightly more at other places, but it was a good lunch portion. I definitely did not have leftovers. I think I found my new favorite hush puppies. I’ll take a large side order of those any day. They are Fire. No joke. I do like where the place is located. I forget about that side of town. It was nice and quiet out there. The staff were friendly as well! I look forward to trying more items on the menu!

The food was more tasty and original than expected, the service was top notch, with fun inviting atmosphere. Had a genuine New Orleans feel music and decor.

Had the shrimp and cheese grits and they were great! Just got the half order and it was the perfect size for lunch.

Closest thing to Louisiana you'll find in this area. The etouffe is awesome and the gumbo is good too! Only thing I'd like better is if they had potato salad for the gumbo!
